Fight Like David Love Like Jesus
Philippians 4:13
The FBC Vinita Martial Arts Ministry is intended as a family-oriented time of exploring the Martial Arts, and family participation is encouraged. Taekwondo is the Korean martial art that is used as the foundation for the First Baptist Church Vinita Martial Arts Program.

Our Martial Arts Program is biblically based and refrains from teaching any Eastern mysticism which may be commonly associated with the martial arts. Martial Arts is a great way to get fit in all aspects of your physical and mental well-being: flexibility, cardio-vascular, self-defense, awareness, focus, respect, honor, persistence, coordination, agility, and even weight loss.

Format and Schedule
We meet Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30.  The first half of each class will include a warm up time, stretching and basic kicks, punches, blocks, etc.  The middle of the class will be a Bible study.  The last part of the class will be sparing, forms and games.

Location
We meet in the Fellowship Hall at First Baptist Church Vinita.

Cost
The lessons are provided for free, however, each participant needs to have a mouth piece.  Other equipment is optional but not mandatory.
