The purpose of the Women’s ministry of First Baptist Church, Vinita is to provide opportunities for women of all ages to serve God and serve others through:
EXPERIENCING His Love, EMBRACING His Love, and ECHOING His Love.
Experience His love -- Tell women of the love of Christ: "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but has everlasting life." John 3 :16
Embrace His Love -- Train women in the Word: "My daughter, pay attention to wisdom, listen well to my words of insight, that you may maintain discretion and your lips may preserve knowledge." Proverbs 5:1-2
Echo His Love -- Transmit the love of Christ to the world: "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven." Matthew 5:16
"I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God. Then you will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ, God's great mystery." Colossians 2:2
