Thankful Baskets
Thankful Baskets is our ministry during the season of thanksgiving for our community members that are in need of help. These baskets supply the necessary items for a nice thanksgiving meal. We fill each basket with food based upon the size of the family that will be receiving it. These families not only receive a basket full of food, but they also receive the gospel message and much prayer. If the family does not have a Bible we supply those as well. We work with Neighbors Helping Neighbors to be sure that those who would benefit from a thankful basket receive one.
FBC Vinita's schedule on Sunday, November 20th will be different due to our Thankful Basket ministry. Worship will be at 9:30am-10am. There will be no Sunday School. Our Thankful Basket ministry will be from 10am-Noon.
We do receive monetary donations for the thankful baskets. If you would like to donate, please contact our church office at 918-256-7831.
